David Myers casts up on Singapore's shores
with his latest bar and restaurant, Adrift
T
he self-proclaimed "Gypsy Chef ", David myers is certainly well
travelled. Hailing from Boston in the united states, he has established
successful restaurants in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and most recently
Tokyo, making a name – and winning a michelin star – for his fresh
and energetic approach. Now the chef has found a home in singapore,
where he recently launched edgy bar and eatery concept Adrift.
We meet in Adrift's seductive lounge, which is hidden behind a
wood-and-copper façade in the atrium of marina Bay sands. The east-meets-West menu
and relaxed vibe serve as a candid expression of David's Californian roots and of the
memorable meals he has experienced during more than 20 years in the business. "It's just
