"We are able to produce anything in-house, from
the smallest screw to the case and dial," says
Michel Parmigiani, explaining what differentiates his
eponymous watch brand from the rest. "Because of
this, we are able to reach the highest standards of
quality, standards that are not often sought in the
rest of the industry, as well as being creative. There
is no dial or case shape that is out of reach, which is
why we define our collection and spirit by '
Mesure
et Démesure',
indicating that our spectrum covers
elegant and timeless styles right up to extravagant
achievements." It's a philosophy encapsulated in
Parmigiani's new offerings for 2015, which include the
Tonda 1950 Squelette, a slim model with a complex
mechanism, as well as three new timepieces to
commemorate Parmigiani's partnership with high-
performance car maker Bugatti. The Bugatti Mythe
features a dial reminiscent of the iconic grille on the
first Bugatti cars; the Bugatti Revelation, a miniature
grille dial and hinged bonnet; while the face of the
Bugatti Victoire evokes tyre tracks laid down by racing
cars as the rubber hits the road.
